Drs. Gene and Dianne Swella studied at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. They graduated in 1982 and 1983, respectively.
After Dr. Dianne finished her chiropractic education in 1983 they were married and spent four years practicing in Iowa. In 1987 they moved to California and continued their practice in Yucca Valley.
While Dr. Gene became the face and driving force behind Swella Chiropractic, Dr. Dianne focused on both raising their lovely daughters and offering support with patient care.
Over the last years, they have worked together to build a long lived and thriving family practice here in Yucca Valley. They have also spent countless hours aiding local sports teams and marathon runners with their sport's injury needs. With over years of experience in the field of chiropractic treatment, you couldn’t ask for better or more caring professionals.
Dr. Gene is a second generation chiropractor. His father practiced chiropractic for 40 years. His sister, too, is a practicing chiropractor. While Dr. Dianne is the first to study chiropractic in her family, her twin sister also became a chiropractor in 1991.
Palmer College of Chiropractic is referred to as "The Fountainhead". It is the first and largest chiropractic college in the world. One-Third of all practicing chiropractors are Palmer graduates and contribute to the health and well-being of people throughout the world.
